Scott Ewing is a collaborative keyboardist and vocal coach located in Columbus, Ohio. Scott is in demand as a recitalist and is frequently engaged with the area’s top artists in vocal and chamber music performance. He holds BM and MM degrees from Ohio University, having studied piano with nationally known artists Gail Berenson and Richard Syracuse in addition to studies in organ, harpsichord, vocal literature, and conducting. Scott has accompanied singers in studio lessons and masterclasses with artists such as Sylvia McNair, Barbara Honn, Neil Rosenshein, Hilda Harris, and Maitland Peters; and members of his coaching studio have received high honors for artistry from the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). In addition to recital work, Scott has worked as a coach and conductor for several opera and musical theater productions regionally and in New York city. Scott is a member of the voice faculty at Capital University in Columbus, OH where he teaches studio voice and courses in lyric diction and vocal literature.
