Meg Linebaugh

Mezzo-soprano

A native of Columbus, Ohio, mezzo-soprano Meg Linebaugh has been praised for her, “rich, pearly timbre.” Ms. Linebaugh earned her Master of Music degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music and her Bachelor of Music degree at Ohio Wesleyan University. She performed for the Cleveland Institute of Music Opera Theater as Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel), Neris (Medea), Principessa (Suor Angelica), and The Friend (Amelia al ballo), as well as scenes from Carmen, Der Rosenkavalier, and Die Zauberflöte. She has sung in master classes for Helen Donath and George Vassos and recently participated in the 2018 Art Song Festival hosted at the Cleveland Institute of Music. In Columbus, Ms. Linebaugh also appeared with Opera Columbus in the choruses of La traviata, La bohème, Armide, and Pagliacci.
